Tegeler EQP-1 EQ

The Tegeler Audio Classic Equalizer EQP-1 is a dual-channel passive EQ based on the legendary Pultec EQP-1.
The Tegeler Audio Classic Equalizer EQP-1 features the same 3-part architecture as the original Pultec (Bass boost and cut, High boost with adjustable bandwidth and a high-frequency cut) and uses only passive components such as condenser and inductors in the EQ path. This classic design delivers warmth and depth unlike anything else. The top end is smooth without ever sounding harsh.
With each channel controlled separately, it is possible to treat stereo sources or two different mono sources, and the Classic Equalizer EQP-1 is equally at ease on vocals, guitars, bass as it is on your mix bus. All controls are stepped ensuring precision setting and easy recalls making this EQ very useful for mastering applications.
Just like an original Pultec, the Classic EQP-1 uses a tube amplification stage. The presence of valves in the amplification stage adds warmth and density to the incoming sound as well as the additional presence. The top-end will also sound smooth yet open and airy. Simply passing the signal through will add sonic benefits.

In use, the Classic EQP-1 can deliver deep low-end without sounding boomy by boosting and cutting the bass frequency band at the same time while the top frequency will still sound natural even when boosted high.
